We, Jenny and Nora, are two dedicated doulas and stand united in our passion for the well-being of mothers-to-be, new moms, and women in general. At our practice, we wholeheartedly embrace the ethos of encouragement, doula care, and feminine self-care.
Our firm name, bellybutton, holds deep symbolism. Just as the belly button is the center of the body, symbolizing strength, intuition, and connection, our practice aims to serve as a point of connection and empowerment for women. Much like the scar left after cutting the umbilical cord, the belly button signifies our connection to our mother, ancestors, and past, while also celebrating the beauty of our bodies.
With a wealth of experience and a fierce commitment to empowering women, we offer a range of services tailored to support you through every stage of your journey. From conscious conception coaching to compassionate pre and postnatal doula care, we are here to provide guidance, comfort, and unwavering support.
Our Services
As doulas, we cater to women wanting to conceive, pregnant women, birthing people, mothers, fathers, and couples facing infertility challenges. Our services include personalized support throughout pregnancy, birth, and motherhood, as well as specialized circles and rituals tailored to each group’s needs. Through coaching, we empower women to navigate challenges and embrace their journey with resilience and self-awareness.
Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a whirlwind of emotions and physical changes. We provide steady support, guidance and evidence-based information to aid in decision-making throughout your whole pregnancy.
Postpartum
Whether it’s lending a listening ear, assisting with breast-/bottle feeding, or offering reassurance, we can make the transition into parenthood smoother and more manageable for new moms and dads.
Infertility
We support women facing infertility through compassionate care and women’s circles, providing connection and guidance. Our resources empower women on their journey, fostering hope and resilience.
Selfcare
Our individual coaching sessions and supportive circles are designed to empower women on their journey. We help women cultivate self-esteem, resilience, and a deep sense of fulfillment, no matter what path they choose.

Nora and Jenny,
We have been friends for over 20 years now, standing by each other through thick and thin. We have a deep passion for women’s health in general and the journey of childbirth, which has strengthened our bond over the years. We have spent years preparing to start a firm together, driven by a shared vision to support and empower women through every stage of their life. We’re here for women, providing support based on trust and mutual respect, the same values that define our friendship.
